Paintings by Dorothy Netherland

Dorothy Netherland was born in Alexandria, VA and received a BA in Studio Art from the College of Charleston in 2000. Her work has been showcased throughout the southeast, including the Triennial at the South Carolina State Museum and the Greenville County Museum of Art. Netherland's work investigates the incongruity between interior and exterior, the role of individual interpretation, and the struggle to know oneself and others.
