Eleven Eleven is an installation that dissects two tragedies, one that transpired on a national scale, the other a more personal kind of catastrophe. It stands as both a memorial for those who lost their lives during the tragic events of September 11th, and also attempts to comment on the disintegration of the Family in modern America. The installation will challenge the viewer to look at these iconic structures in a new way, beyond the metal and glass to the humanity underneath, where the towers are no longer buildings but symbols: hope and despair, endings and beginnings, man and wife.
