One Day Gift Shop
A mock museum gift shop stocked with products created by SCAD's Issues in Contemporary Photography class. Subversive and humorous in nature, these products interrogate the very canon of "art" photography.

Proceeds from the sales will be donated to Desotorow Gallery, Inc. - a community conscious arts organization.

March 20 Tag, You're It!
A Graffiti Performance at Desotorow!

To kick off the first day of spring, Desotorow will host a live performance of graffiti artists. Depending on available space, 5-10 artists may sign up to participate in this performance on the evening of March 20th.

Some paint will be provided, but graffiti artists are encouraged to bring their own paint, caps, etc. Artists are also required to provide their own safety gear.

Sign-ups start at 5:30pm at Desotorow Gallery (only $10 to participate). Painting starts at 6pm! The finished products will stay up in the galleries all week.

Come paint or just come to watch and enjoy the Vernal Equinox!

The World According to Sesame Street
March 30 Making Art Your Life's Work: I Want to Pay a Million Dollars in Taxes This Year
Robert Lewis, CPA Inactive, will lead a discussion on tax issues that artists may face. Topics covered will be filing taxes as employed, self-employed, or professional corporation LLC, as well as tips for reducing taxes for each situation. Lewis will address employer non-reimbursed expenses, self-employed expenses, and/or professional corporation LLC expenses.

At the height of the tax season, artists will gather together, retain relevant tax knowledge and tools for their own careers, and have the opportunity to ask questions specific to an artist's tax filing situation.
